Let Me clear Something Up

After the blogs these past few weeks — about flare ups, about the body you have versus the one you imagined, about the women who cancel their support right when they need it most — I've heard from a lot of you. Replies, shares, a few of you saying "this is exactly what I needed to read."

The relating/relationship part of my work is probably my favorite, which makes me realize I'm not always clear about what I do.What the studio is, how it's different from the Club and how Magic got his own cabinet.

So let me fix it.

It’s All Yoga

It's All Yoga is my virtual movement studio for women — primarily in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. Members get access to a full library of yoga and strength training classes, live weekly sessions, and a community of women who are done pretending this stuff is easy or linear. It's not a platform. It's a place. Membership is month-to-month ($59-$97), no contract, no performance required.

This is where we practice together every week. This is home base.

The Mindful Muscle Club

The Mindful Muscle Club is a 12-week online strength program I run a few times a year — a small cohort of women building real functional strength from the ground up. Twice-weekly live classes, a private podcast series, and the specific pleasure of doing something hard with people who get it. It's beginner-friendly by design. The whole philosophy is getting strong as slowly as possible. ($399)

MMC is separate from IAY membership — but the live workouts happen right inside the studio schedule. At the end of 12 weeks, you graduate into full IAY membership at a discounted rate, so the momentum you've built has somewhere to go.

The next round opens in June.

If you've been curious — or if the last few weeks of emails have made you think I need more of this — this is the thing I'd point you toward.

Magic’s Cabinet

Magic's Cabinet is for the It's All Yoga community (that's you!) — a seasonal curation of things I'm into, recommending, and returning to. Products, practices, rabbit holes. It's the insider layer. Magic is my very opinionated black cat — and yes, the Cabinet is named for him.

That's the whole ecosystem. Three things, one through-line: slow down, get strong, stop performing wellness for everyone else.

If you've been reading these emails and thinking I want more of this — one of those three doors is yours. Have questions? Just hit reply — I respond to every email.

With love,

— Michelle
