Last chance to sign up for Reset
You might be thinking… with all the crises happening in the world, what I’m eating is not really the priority right now.
I agree that it might feel strange to sign on for something that seems so off-topic.
Yet, as you can read in the description of the Whole Foods Reset, your food doesn't properly digest when you eat under a state of stress. Your body doesn't break down or assimilate nutrients as well.
Here's what that means: in addition to heartburn, constipation, bloat and many other physical symptoms, what you eat and how your digestion is functioning affects your ability to be clear-headed and make decisions, your sleep and energy level. When we take care of ourselves at this base level, we have the resources and reserves to do everything else that needs to be done.
In short, we need to bolster our systems to live in this world right now.
If you already eat well? Great! You might have a couple of vices to take a break from, and this program includes Ayurvedic self care practices, herbal recs and a protocol to set you off on the right foot for the coming months.

FAQs
Will this program be "work" or is it more about guidelines and recipes?
It is a “protocol” of guidelines for eliminating the crud (aka processed and inflammatory) food and getting more whole foods in. Lots of recipes. Self care ritual guidelines (all Ayurvedic) along with some journaling prompts to help get at “what you’re really hungry for.”
And no shame in the comfort foods/binge eating right now… with all of this stress, it’s totally understandable. We will just love on ourselves in more truly nourishing ways.
Will this be complicated? Will I be hungry?
It's not complicated. It's also not food out of a box. You will be cooking!
It’s simple, delicious food, with recipes — soups, stews, gluten-free grains, greens and veggies. High protein, high nutrient value.
The first few days we will be cutting out gluten, diary, caffeine, sugar, etc., then you'll have the option of doing a simplified “mono-diet,” meaning the same thing for lunch and dinner for 3-5 days. Breakfast will be some kind of hot cereal, then lunch and dinner will be a rice, lentil and veggie dish. Simple and yummy. Hearty and satisfying. We use spices to aid in the “cleansing” and nourishing. (If you don't want to do the mono-diet, you'll stick with the other recipes.)
You can have snacks, you won’t go hungry. This isn’t about deprivation… it’s about simplifying to give the digestive system a break and get on a good path as we head into fall.
Do I *have* to give up coffee?
You don't HAVE to do anything! We are all getting comfort and soothing where we can these days. If your cup(s!) of coffee are getting you through the day, then don't give it up! You get to decide what parts of the protocol work for you.
I will say, this question comes up every time I offer this program, and what I have heard from coffee drinkers is, yes, taking a little break from it was hard, and they felt better than they expected at the end.
When are the live meetings and will they be recorded?
We kick off tomorrow at 1 pm PT. Then we meet Thursday, Oct 1st and Tuesday, October 6th at 5 pm PT. Yes, they will be recorded and you have access to them for 30 days.
You also get 2 weeks Remembership access (yoga, breathing and meditation practices), group accountability and support!
If you are considering joining but still have questions, just hit reply! I'm here.
