Fall Yoga Immersion

A weekend immersion to fully engage in the study and application of the topics and tools of Yoga.

The content of this weekend is influenced by the season and will be focused on the energies of autumn so you head into fall feeling grounding, lighter and nourished.

Over the course of the weekend, we will learn about 5 major Yogic practices:

  • Asana (Physical Practice)

  • Meditation (Mind Practice)

  • Pranayama (Breath Practice)

  • Philosophy (Contemplative Practice)

  • Ayurveda (Health & Wellness Practice — includes a take-home health kit for fall)

You will walk away with a much richer sense of these practices as a touchstone through the rest of the year. This immersion will inspire any level practitioner with wonderful techniques of self-inquiry, self-development and self-reliance.

The teacher training experience has been enriching, thought provoking, and horizon widening. I feel so fortunate to have found it. Thank you also for the depth of the curriculum that you have put into these weekends. Thank you for creating the space.


Why an Immersion?

Maybe you want another level of practice and information. Maybe you’ve fallen out of practice. Our needs change, schedules shift, life ebbs and flows. This is an opportunity to find center and move into this new season, the last quarter of the year, with purpose and clarity.

The Fall Yoga Immersion can help:

  • create a sense of groundedness in body and spirit

  • get in touch with where you are as we enter autumn and help bring you into a rhythm with the season

  • re/commit to regular practice of simple asana, meditation and/or pranayama

  • help balance scattered energy left over from summer schedules

  • bring mental clarity, focus and steadiness

  • set up supportive practice habits for the last quarter of the year

  • explore topics not covered in weekly classes, like philosophy and ayurveda

  • give you the practical tools the enable you to continue to support your well-being at home

  • create or increase a sense of support and community

The Yoga Immersion is open to yoga teachers of all styles and is approved through Yoga Alliance for 15 hours of continuing education credit.

This immersion is also perfect for those who are interested in Yoga School or any Teacher Training. This will prepare you for our longer program of study and give you a sample of what you can expect.

This is also for those who want more depth of practice and information but do not want to do a teacher training.


The Format

We will gather together for three days, allowing you to immerse in self-study, which will help the practices take root and form supportive habits for the fall.

Friday 6 pm - 9 pm
Saturday 10 am - 4 pm
Sunday 10 am - 4 pm

Our Friday evening gather will open with an introduction and overview, as well as a practice including asana, meditation and breath practices.

Our time Saturday and Sunday will be a mixture of practice, discussion, experiential exercises, observation and reflection. As with Yoga School, we learn more from doing than from lecture; as such, this curriculum is carefully curated for full-body learning.

We will close Sunday evening and you will leave with a new level of understanding and intentionality, and a deepened connection to what Yoga means to you.

My advice to someone considering your events: Come and meet this extraordinary teacher who puts together the most loving, peaceful, fun, interesting,
soul and body nourishing offerings.

Claim a weekend for yourself — uninterrupted practice time, out of the craziness (or monotony) of a typical weekend, and focus on what’s important to you. Feel re-inspired in your practice or teaching. Feel good in your skin.

Whether you teach or not, whether you know nothing about yoga philosophy or you’ve studied the Yoga Sutras, whether you sit every day or have never meditated.

Either way, you’ll appreciate having a safe and supportive place where you can ask questions, not know the answers and explore Yoga in broader terms.
